God Never Lets Go on 08.19.12

Glory to God Forever
Be Glorified
Dance with song Never Let Me Go (by Florence and the Machine)
You Never Let Go

Last weekend we had the joy of participating in the sacrament of communion together.  In preparation, our creative team came up with a dance to share, accompanied with “Never Let Me Go” by Florence and the Machine. The theme of this element and spiritual reflection is how God never lets us go.  God is present with us in every moment, all the time. Whether we are a new believer or have been a believer our whole lives, this concept is astounding. God is all knowing, all powerful, all present. Even in the most tumultous of seasons, God is with us. We are not alone.

In the words of Isaiah 43:2 NIV…
When you pass through the waters,
I will be with you;
and when you pass through the rivers,
they will not sweep over you.
When you walk through the fire,
you will not be burned;
the flames will not set you ablaze.

And in Psalm 23:4 NIV…
Even though I walk
through the darkest valley,
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.

Thanks again!
