A New Liturgy on 10.12.11

Last night, I (Aaron) was thrilled to get to jump back in with the Wednesday night team and community.  There’s something so powerful about a room filled with people who have gathered specifically to worship the Almighty God.  I love Wednesday nights at Willow.

And yesterday was particularly moving for be, because we were finally
able to share a brand new worship experience called “A New Liturgy“.

For the last few months, a handful of us from the worship team have been recording a series of worship “liturgies” – 25 minute journeys of music, prayer, scripture, and space – that hopefully help us to create holy space wherever we find ourselves.  The first one in the series, “God is Love”, is an extended worship liturgy based around the depth, width, and height of God’s amazing LOVE.  And hopefully last night was a deep dive into this world-altering reality.

The CD is available at Seeds Bookstore and at anewliturgy.com.

For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.  (Romans 8:38-39)

Many blessings,
