Be Thou My Vision Video:
A few weeks back I met with the video team and started collaborating with Bjorn Amundsen and Blaine Hogan on how we could help visualize a limited perspective to a widened God perspective.  Here you go…

In thinking through the message topic for this week, my heart was drawn to how easily I take my focus off of God. I start down a path here and before I realize it, I have taken my eyes off of God. Sometimes admittedly I haven’t even stopped to breathe, open my hands, and ask God what He wants out of my life. Have you ever been there?

Psalm 119:105 “Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.”
Psalm 119:130 “The unfolding of your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple.”
Isaiah 55:9 “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.”

I love this Isaiah passage where God says “my ways are higher than your ways.” God knows best. And God loves His children!

Is there a circumstance you are facing, where you need God’s guidance? Where do you need to turn your eyes upon Jesus?

Food for thought.

With love,
